Brenda Pond – Executive Summary

Brenda M. Pond is a respected executive leader with more than 40 years of hands-on experience.  Brenda served for many years as Vice President and General Manager of Business Interiors, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, where she oversaw strategic planning, operations, customer service, design, project management, administrative assistance, human resources, and organizational leadership.  More recently, she served as President and GSA Contract Administrator, of HST Corporate Interiors, LLC, a WOSB furniture dealership largely focused on government business. She led all operational aspects of the organization including sales and contract compliance.  She worked closely with vendors, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality workplace solutions and service.  Brenda also served as Director of Manufacturer Relationships with Consoll during the transition of HST Corporate Interiors, LLC, further strengthening vendor and supplier partnerships.

Brenda has spent her career aligning people, processes, and purpose.  Her expertise spans project management, organizational development, and leadership – always with a focus on practical results and long-term impact.  Brenda is a certified team member of the John Maxwell leadership program.  She has trained and mentored supervisors, managers, and customer service professionals across a broad range of industries, earning a reputation for being both an insightful strategist and a compassionate coach.

Larry D. Carr brings over five decades of executive leadership, financial expertise, and strategic management to a broad spectrum of industries and organizations. As a Certified Public Accountant and managing partner in public accounting, Larry provided more than just audit and tax services—he delivered innovative strategies to enhance revenue, improve profitability, and streamline operations for his clients.

In 1993, Larry transitioned from public accounting to serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for a major Alabama-based commercial contract furniture dealership, Business Interiors, Inc., overseeing sales, customer service, operations, and finance. During his tenure at Business Interiors Inc., he assisted in growing the dealership to a multi-million-dollar company.  A year later, he expanded the company’s reach into Tennessee, taking on the role of President of a Tennessee holding company.  The holding company, Health Systems of Tennessee consisted of four subsidiaries:  HST Interior Elements (commercial contract furniture dealership), HST Corporate Interiors (furniture dealership focusing on GSA sales), Consolidated Furniture Group (private labeling), and Consoll (GPO focusing on Mid-market sales) while continuing his leadership in the Alabama operations.

Larry is also a certified member of the Maxwell Certified Leadership Team through the John Maxwell Leadership Academy. In this role, he has delivered executive coaching, professional counseling, and leadership development to executives, sales managers, and employees, equipping them to grow personally and professionally while enhancing organizational performance and increasing profitability.

In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Larry has served as chairman on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards, offering governance expertise and financial guidance. He is the founder of two nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to serving the needs of children.

Today, Larry leverages his extensive background in executive leadership, financial systems, ethical governance, and nonprofit management to support businesses through virtual executive assistance, strategic consulting, andleadership development. Whether guiding CEOs through growth strategies or helping organizations optimize performance, Larry delivers trusted expertise with integrity and proven results.
